LED Tubes
LED tubes replace fluorescent lamps in the fixtures you already have. Start with the tube size: T8 (1 inch, G13 base) or T5 (5/8 inch, G5 base). Then the install type. Type A runs on the existing ballast if the ballast is on the tube maker's compatibility list. Type B bypasses the ballast and is wired to line voltage by an electrician. Hybrid tubes work either way.
