Photocells
Photocells turn outdoor lights on at dusk and off at dawn. Twist-lock photocells plug into a standard 3-prong receptacle on area and street lights; button photocells mount in a fixture or junction box knockout; swivel types aim away from the light they control. Match the voltage (120V, 208-277V or 480V) and check the load rating for your fixture. If lights stay on during the day, the photocell has usually failed in the on position.
