LED PAR Shaped Lamps
PAR lamps throw a focused beam for downlights, track and outdoor floods. The number is the diameter in eighths of an inch, so a PAR30 is 3.75 inches and a PAR38 is 4.75 inches. PAR30 comes in short neck and long neck versions; measure how deep the old lamp sits in the can. Then pick the beam angle, color temperature and dimming. For outdoor fixtures, choose a lamp rated for wet locations.
