Downlight Retrofit Fixtures
Retrofit kits upgrade an existing recessed can without touching the ceiling. Remove the old lamp and trim, screw the adapter into the socket (or wire it in), and push the LED trim up until the springs hold it. Measure the can's inside diameter: most kits fit 5 and 6 inch housings, and 4 inch kits are their own size. Check the trim's minimum can depth and whether it is rated for IC housings. In California homes, choose JA8 certified models.
