Emergency Ballasts
An emergency ballast or driver turns a regular fixture into code-required egress lighting. When power fails, its battery runs one or more lamps for at least 90 minutes. Match the unit to the lamp: fluorescent emergency ballasts do not run LED tubes, and LED emergency drivers are rated by output power and voltage range. Check whether it needs to fit inside the fixture or mount remotely. Test monthly and replace the battery every 5 to 7 years. Text a photo of the old part or its label to 949-589-3020.
